TITLE: CHALLENGES OF ENGAGING STUDENTS IN VIRTUAL CLASSROOMS
ABSTRACT: In recent times, technology is growing day by day bringing many challenges in the modern education system. In these times, it is very important to accept the online teaching as an important method of teaching the students. Teaching and learning in virtual classroom bring a very difficult task for the educators. Knowledge of technology is must for this and teachings plans are also to be made accordingly. However, there are various strategies adopted by the teachers and the students to be familiar with virtual classroom, still there are many challenges faced by them in the process of online teaching learning. The researcher in this study tried to bring forward the challenges prevailing in the path of online teaching-learning in a virtual classroom and the suggestive measures has also been provided to combat this problem.
