TITLE: COLLECTION DEVELOPMENT AND MANAGEMENT OF INFORMATION RESOURCES IN THE CENTRAL INSTITUTE OF SUB TROPICAL HORTICULTURE, LUCKNOW: A STUDY

ABSTRACT: This study is based on the current status of collection development and management. Central Institute of sub-tropical horticulture, Lucknow. Present study has used survey method in combination with experimental method survey method plays a significant role in research as can be seen from the statement. Library collection storage in both forms printed and non-printed materials. In the print form Books, Journals, Magazines and Newspaper are available. In the library e-resources are also available in the library. Librarian brought collection in the library with the help of books selection committee. Library providing following services like Electronic Online Journals, Internet network, OPAC and Photocopy.
