ABSTRACT: Whatsapp is a social media application for social networking among people including students. It is highly acceptable technology for collaborative learning in an educational setup for educational discussion, messaging, sharing knowledge etc. The paper discuss about the introduction of whtsapp as a social media tool and its benefits. The study is based on a survey of undergraduate students of, D.A.V. College Pundri (Kaithal) Haryana, which identifies UG students’ usage of WhatsApp Messenger.
