USE OF SOCIAL NETWORKING TOOLS BY PG STUDENTS IN SCHOOL OF PHYSICAL AND APPLIED LIFE SCIENCES: A STUDY OF CENTRAL UNIVERSITY OF HARYANA, MAHENDERGARH

ABSTRACT: This Study is an attempt to investigate the awareness and usage pattern of social networking tools among the postgraduate students of the Central University of Haryana specifically focused on physical and applied life sciences. The study relieved that the most of the students have awareness about using social networking tools like YouTube, WhatsApp, and Google+ etc. However, the students (65.7%) are not aware of Information Technology Act. Most of the students are in favor of integrating and replacing library services with social networking tools.
