TITLE : ROLE OF INFLIBNET E-CONSORTIUM SERVICES FOR ENHANCING RESEARCH QUALITY IN HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS

ABSTRACT: The study investigates the essential function of INFLIBNET e-Consortium services in improving research quality inside Indian higher education institutions. ONOS (One Nation One Subscription), e-ShodhSindhu, ShodhShuddhi, N-LIST, InfiStats, and INFED are all digital projects that work together to make academic resources more accessible to everyone, encourage research integrity, and facilitate the spread of knowledge. The ONOS plan, in line with the National Education Policy (NEP 2020) and the vision of Viksit Bharat@2047, aims to bring together and make it easier for more than 1.8 crore people across the country to access foreign research papers through a single digital platform. e-ShodhSindhu combines many consortia to give people access to more than 10,000 peer-reviewed publications and databases at a lower cost. N-LIST then extends these benefits to colleges and technical schools. DrillBit-Extreme is an advanced plagiarism-detecting tool that ShodhShuddhi delivers to help keep academic honesty. InfiStats makes sure that everything is clear by keeping track of how e-resources are used, and INFED lets people access them safely from anywhere at any time with federated identity management. Together, these INFLIBNET-led projects make it easier for everyone to access high-quality academic information, improve research infrastructure, and make India a stronger player in the global research ecosystem.
