TITLE: INDIA’S APPROACH TOWARDS AFGHANISTAN IN 21ST CENTURY: A GREAT THEATRE OF UPS AND DOWN

ABSTRACT: This article examines India’s policy challenges and interests in Afghanistan after the recent takeover by the Taliban. It provides a historical perspective of India-Afghanistan relations and the geo-strategic and geo-political implications of the current situation. It argues that India needs to adopt a proactive and pragmatic approach to safeguard its security and economic interests, as well as to support the Afghan people and regional stability.
