TITLE :DECODING THE PARADOX: AN ANALYTICAL STUDY OF BARRIERS FACED BY WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS AND THE EFFICACY OF GOVERNMENTAL INTERVENTIONS
ABSTRACT:Women-led entrepreneurship has become a powerful catalyst in modern economies, playing a vital role in driving innovation, creating job opportunities, and promoting equitable growth. This paper delves into the idea of female entrepreneurship within the broader scope of economic progress, underlining its importance while scrutinizing the major barriers that restrict its maximum impact such as restricted credit availability, insufficient family backing, societal biases, lack of proper training, and weak infrastructure support. In response to these issues, the government has launched several focused schemes as well as programs as well as newer programs all designed to enhance skills, provide financial access, and boost entrepreneurial capacities. Yet, despite these initiatives, challenges persist in terms of execution, outreach, and inclusivity. Ultimately, the study emphasizes that comprehensive policy backing—together with community awareness and effective mentorship frameworks—is crucial for encouraging and expanding women-led businesses, which are key to achieving sustainable progress and gender-balanced economic development.
