The deadly Corona virus influenced numerous countries of the world adversely as well as enormously. During the pandemic situation, the heavy losses of human resources with increasing number of deaths are emerging scenario in different countries across the globe. In these circumstances, the dangerous virus has shattered the every aspect of socio-economic and cultural life of the people. To mitigate and also to break the chain of spreading virus in different countries, governments of respective countries imposed nationwide lockdowns. Further, the lockdowns were extended a many times in different countries including India. Although, these lockdowns were imposed for the safety of the people, but these have freezed every activity in the worldwide society. Besides, the lockdowns hit education at all levels very badly during this corona crisis. In this situation, every individual was confined to stay at home. This had various effects on different activities and habits of people in different parts of the world. It is observed that during Pandemic situation reading habits of the people have influenced in both the ways i.e. adversely as well as positively. Many scholars have tried to analyze the reading habits of the people (both general public and student community) during COVID-19 Pandemic circumstances in different parts of the world. The present paper is an attempt to present a review of some selected studies on reading habits in context of Pandemic times.
