TITLE: USE OF INTERNET BY POST GRADUATE STUDENTS IN BABASAHEB BHIMRAO AMBEDKAR UNIVERSITY LUCKNOW: A STUDY

ABSTRACT: :-Today Internet becomes a part of life. It is necessary for information communication around the world. It is used in everywhere like banking, business, medicine, transportation, library and Information centers to disseminate and retrieval of information online. It helps students to search a variety of information on a particular subject. This study conducted on to know use Internet by Post Graduate students in Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University.  The study has main objectives to identify usability and awareness of internet among post graduates students of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow. In this study, it is revealed that maximum students are aware of in Internet and using internet for the purpose of education but they are not satisfied with information available on the Internet. Mostly postgraduate students using Google search engine and Springer database to search his/ her required information. Mostly students are facing a problem of slow Internet speed.
