TITLE: A STUDY OF THE USE OF ELECTRONIC INFORMATION SYSTEMS BY UNDER GRADUATE STUDENTS IN THE LOYOLA COLLEGE OF ARTS AND SCIENCE, METTALA

ABSTRACT: Today electronic resources were supporting the higher education in world wide. Electronic resources today became more strength of every academic activity of arts and science education. The electronic resources have provided countless opportunities to quicker accessing of information. This study aimed at finding the use of electronics resources by Loyola College of arts and science students. Majority of the respondents use electronics education purposes 0.8 percent of the students have computer knowledge among the surveyed students. All the students are aware about OPAC and E-mail Discussion, On-line data bases. The user satisfaction with e- resources was also studied.56.7 percent of the students were satisfied with the available resources in the college.
